Welcome to The Wick of Change. By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.

 

1. General Information

The Wick of Change (“we,” “our,” “us”) is a handcrafted candle brand based in India.

By using our website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions along with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.

2. Products

  1. All our candles and related products are hand-poured and handcrafted. Minor variations in color, texture, fragrance strength, or finish are natural characteristics of handmade items and are not considered defects.

  2. Product images and descriptions are provided as accurately as possible. However, actual product colors and sizes may vary slightly due to screen settings and lighting conditions.

3. Pricing & Payments

  1. All prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR ₹) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

  2. We accept payments via UPI, Bank Transfer, Debit/Credit Cards, Net Banking, and Cash on Delivery (if available).

  3. The Wick of Change reserves the right to change product prices, offers, or discounts at any time without prior notice.

4. Orders & Cancellations

  1. Orders are confirmed only after successful payment.

  2. Cancellation requests will be accepted only before the order has been processed. Once production or dispatch has begun, cancellations are not possible.

  3. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent or suspicious activity.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  1. Orders are typically dispatched within 2–5 business days after confirmation.

  2. Delivery timelines may vary depending on location and courier services. The Wick of Change is not responsible for delays caused by courier partners, natural calamities, or unforeseen circumstances.

  3. Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information. We are not liable for delays or losses caused by incorrect details.

6. Returns, Refunds & Damages

  1. Due to the nature of our products, returns are accepted only for damaged or defective items.

  2. Customers must provide a clear unboxing video as proof within 48 hours of delivery to be eligible for a replacement or refund.

  3. If approved, refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days through the original payment method.

7. Gift Cards

  1. The Wick of Change Gift Cards are valid for use exclusively on our official website and are valid until 31.12.2025, unless stated otherwise.

  2. Gift Cards are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be redeemed for cash.

8. Intellectual Property

  1. All content on this website, including but not limited to logos, designs, product images, text, and graphics, is the property of The Wick of Change.

  2. Unauthorized use, reproduction, modification, or distribution of any website content is strictly prohibited.

9. Liability & Candle Safety

  1. The Wick of Change shall not be held responsible for any injury, damage, or loss resulting from improper use of candles, including but not limited to leaving candles unattended, placing them near flammable objects, or misuse.

  2. Customers are responsible for following all candle safety instructions provided with each order.

10. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  1. These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.

  2. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Bangalore, Karnataka.
